WSIMSS is a non-profit organization and a volunteer based group run by the WSIMSS Board of directors who oversees the operation and is assisted by highly qualified staff.

Jan, Founding Director of David Lam Centre for International Communication and the Asia-Canada programme, was awarded the Confederation Medal in 1992 and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012. 

Ya-Xian, Advisor for WSIMS, well-respected Poet, has many popular poetry collections and has gained various awards.

Ariadne Sawyer, Advisor for WSIMS, Chair of World Poetry Canada, Poet, Nobel Peace Prize nominee, has many popular poetry collections and has gained various awards.
